- ➤ A new episode of Roots of the Valley aired on Sunday, Feb. 1 as host John Franklin discussed William O. Douglas with local historian Cragg Gilbert; Douglas grew up here and served as the longest-serving U.S. Supreme Court Justice from 1939 to 1975. KIMA
- ➤ The abstract granite sculpture Convolution was installed in 2010 at the corner of North Front Street and Staff Sgt. Pendleton Way in the historic district. - ➤ LINK transition program helps high school students with disabilities learn life and job skills in Yakima.
