Join WSU Postharvest Extension in Yakima, WA, on November 18 from 10 a.m. to noon Pacific Time (in person or online) for an interactive discussion on apple storage practices.
We’ll review WSU’s compiled storage recommendations for Washington’s most common apple cultivars, including temperature, CO₂, and O₂ levels, and invite industry feedback on how these recommendations compare with commercial practices.
Your input matters. Together, we’ll identify where research-based recommendations align with industry experience, explore differences, and help build a practical resource that brings scientific research and real-world storage practices together to inform commercial storage decisions. Industry feedback will be anonymized in the information published on the WSU website.
