Yakima native Davis High graduate Michael (Sully) Sullivan will run 250 miles over five days, starting Sept.
12 from Manhattan’s Intrepid Museum to Washington’s Lincoln Memorial in a tribute run called One Flag Forward that honors 9/11’s 25th anniversary and supports veterans programs.

Zullee Mediterranean Grill in Yakima has partnered with Alturas Ventures to expand into new markets while keeping its signature Mediterranean dishes and service.
The restaurant remains open daily from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. (a refresh is in the works).

Today at 4 p.m., a remembrance event will take place at the Yakima Police Department Memorial Garden (200 S.
Third St.) to mark the 25th anniversary of 9/11. The event, organized by the police and partnering with the fire department and local agencies, is open to the public.
