- ➤ Yakima Valley Trolleys is hosting two St. Patrick's Day events today - a Tea Trolley service from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. with soda bread and Irish butter along with a 3-7 p.m. ride featuring Irish music and stout; tickets cost $5. KIMA

- ➤ More than 150 middle school girls attended the Young Women’s Leadership Summit at Perry Technical Institute on Friday near Yakima for workshops in financial literacy, decision-making (and personal safety) designed by local educators.
