CULTURE NEWS

  • Today at the 2026 Miss Granger Pageant, six Granger High School girls showcased their talents with Hadassah Torres crowned as Miss Granger Queen and Sonia Mendoza and Natalie Mejia earning princess titles. EDUCATION NEWS

  • Perry Technical Institute broke ground on its new electrical technology program building at Washington Avenue last Thursday with community support from alumni and officials; the $21 million project will boost training opportunities and finish by June 25, 2027.  Yakima Herald-Republic
