  • A spring craft fair was held in downtown Yakima and drew about 400 to 500 people who supported local artisans and small businesses. Hosted by Encore Books as its first event, local vendors featured their homemade products to celebrate the season.  FOX 41
  • Residents in local mobile home parks remain confused after landlord Hurst & Son voluntarily issued more than $5.5 million in refunds for improper rent increases — many say unclear rental statement credits and rising rents keep trust low.   • The Yakima City Council will meet at Yakima City Hall and by Zoom at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 15th. The agenda includes a National Day of Prayer proclamation, America's 250th Anniversary proclamation, a Capitol Theatre improvement plan, a bid award for the Yakima Airport Terminal Modernization Project, and a municipal code amendment on unlicensed ambulance operators—public comment will be taken online.  KIMA
