Residents living from Nob Hill Boulevard to Tieton Drive between 16th Avenue and Landon Avenue can join a free community cleanup on May 3rd from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Items must be set out by 8:00 a.m.—trucks will help collect trash and yard clippings while hazardous and large construction waste will not be accepted.

The Yakima School District is hosting an informational evening for residents who want to serve on the school board on Tuesday, April 29 from 5:30 to 7:00 PM at the Professional Library, Central Services Building.

Superintendent Dr. Trevor Greene will lead the session—attendees will learn how to apply and what board service involves.
