  • The Yakima Symphony Orchestra is set to wrap its season this weekend with a 90-minute concert featuring Carl Orff's Carmina Burana and Strauss Jr.'s Wine, Women, and Song. Conductor Lawrence Golan leads a 100-member chorus and orchestra in a performance expected to be a dramatic farewell.  KIMA

  • The Hometown Showdown debuts on Saturday, May 9 at Hometown Ace Hardware in Yakima as the kickoff for the Pacific Northwest Food Championships and features a live-fire cooking contest with separate adult and youth divisions.
