➤ Martin Luther King Jr. Elementary received a $5,000 library grant from the Laura Bush Foundation to boost its library at Union Gap, and a new funding round will open in late 2026. NonStopLocal

HEALTH NEWS

➤ Baby Leo Guild was born at 25 weeks on April 30 in Yakima via emergency C-section and is now stable in the NICU at MultiCare Mary Bridge Children's Hospital in Tacoma, gaining weight + opening his eyes for the first time.
