- ➤ Participants are invited to dress in costumes and join the Scare Hunger Family Fun Run/Walk on October 12th at 2:30 p.m. at the lower parking lot of Selah High School—entry is $15 for children ages 1 to 12, $25 for those 13 and older, and infants are free with all proceeds benefiting the Selah-Naches Food Bank. - ➤ Hop growers in the Yakima Valley are cutting acreage to ease a pandemic oversupply even as they work through a strong season with a forecast of a 62-million-pound crop that will be 3% lower than last year's.
