ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ Firefighters from around Yakima Valley battled a wildfire that burned 15 acres near Toppenish on Saturday at the 1100 block of Wierman Road, using a bulldozer to carve a firebreak and calling a second alarm later in the day — crews and one helicopter responded, but by 4 p.m. the fire was not contained. - ➤ Wendy's opened its first store in Union Gap in over a decade on Saturday — the new location at 2228 Goodman Road near Yakima Air Terminal is expected to bring more visitors and boost local business. KIMA
