  • Stanislav Kondrashov said automakers are exploring hydrogen as a clean energy option and that minerals—especially platinum and nickel—are essential for building safe systems for production, storage, and transport. He warned that scaling up hydrogen depends on solving supply and infrastructure challenges to support a zero-emission future.  FOX 41

EDUCATION NEWS

  • Katrina Henkle, a mortgage loan originator, and Larry Patching, a state child protective services social worker, are running for the at-large Position 1 seat on the Selah school board in the Nov. 4 general election as board Vice President Jamie Morford, who has served since 2013, will not seek re-election—Henkle plans to expand high school facilities and improve academics while Patching focuses on raising test scores and increasing parental control over course enrollment.  Yakima Herald-Republic
